This board is so much fun! It has a very lively/playful personality despite its relatively high flex rating, and I love the aggressive camber. I dont think I’ll ever ride a non camber board after experiencing this board. Insane pop compared to my other rides, edge grip goes crazy, and I found myself with newfound confidence hitting jumps. In fact every area of my riding felt like I was immediately progressing to the next level, even switch feels great despite it being directional and tail butters feel effortless and stable. It’s extremely stable overall. The only criticism I can think of is that it might not turn edge to edge as fast as some boards I’ve experienced, but the amazingness of everything else completely out-shadows that - it’s something that can be overcome with proper technique. Overall, the All-Out is a fantastic board and I’m officially a believer of the YES brand - give it a go!
For reference, I am 5’9” / 175cm 195lbs / 88 kg on a 154cm All-Out. I mostly ride outside of the park and enjoy my side hits. It seems to match my style perfectly. I’m riding it with the bolt stance printed on the board (set back), -9 +15. I consider myself an upper intermediate to advanced rider.
Jumps: 5/5, best jump board I’ve owned. Insane pop. The confidence it gives me on jumps alone is worth every penny of the board.
Edging: 5/5, it bites hard.
Carving: 5/5, carving this board feels natural. Super fun. Really can lean into them.
Powder: 4/5, didnt experience deep pow but it was effortlessly gliding off-piste in 1.5’ of snow. Comes with slammed back inserts too which is a plus.
Edge to Edge Speed: 3/5, will take some getting used to (I’ve been riding a ridiculously narrow board before this), but it’s worth it considering it’s stability and jump confidence.
Switch: 4/5, I was surprised at how good switch felt. It might not be as good as a true twin, but it’s passable for sure!
Base speed: 4/5, certainly as fast as I need / want.
My first day up with it I was completely dumbfounded. Felt like the whole mountain was a playground with the newly gained confidence it gave me, I was hitting all kinds of jumps, leaning into deep carves, and riding switch. If you want an all-rounder, I think you should seriously consider this one!
